At Koinly, we’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist to lead how we educate, attract, and engage users across every channel, from blog and SEO to social, partnerships, and thought leadership.
You’ll own the content roadmap, shape how Koinly shows up across platforms, and manage contributor workflows to ensure everything we publish builds clarity, trust, and impact. Working closely with our Product Marketer and Community & Partnerships Strategist, you’ll help keep our messaging consistent and meaningful across every channel where Koinly speaks.

About the Sr. Content Strategist role
Bring one coherent strategy to all of Koinly’s content so users get clear, trustworthy guidance on complex crypto tax topics. This role aligns voice and priorities across channels and ties what we publish to measurable growth.
What you’ll do:
- Own content strategy and roadmap. Set priorities, themes, cadences, and success metrics across blog, SEO, social, and thought leadership.
- Drive SEO growth. Build content architecture; ship high-intent pieces; run refreshes; lift rankings and activation on core terms.
- Lead social strategy. Define narratives and calendars for LinkedIn, X, YouTube; set KPIs for reach, engagement, watch time, subscribers, and email signups; guide creators without executing.
- Lead channel expansion. Run time-boxed experiments across newsletters, podcasts, communities/Reddit, guest content, and syndication. Set clear KPIs (traffic, subscribers, assisted signups). Scale winners, sunset misses, document playbooks.
- Run thought leadership. Shape Koinly’s POV with founders/SMEs; publish exec posts, data studies, and explainers; place guest content where it drives authority and demand.
- Coordinate PR and communications. Maintain a lean PR calendar; manage press notes, journalist outreach, and contributed articles; align messages across owned and earned.
- Editorial operations and governance. Own briefs, outlines, and QA; guide writers, designers, and presenters; enforce voice, tone, and style; run contributor workflows without direct line management.
- Launch operations. Plan and ship campaigns with clear owners, timelines, and approvals; create repeatable playbooks.
- Information architecture and standards. Define content models, templates, and internal style guides; ensure consistency across site sections and languages.
- Analytics and experimentation. Build simple dashboards; track rankings, engagement, activation, and conversions; A/B test headlines, formats, and CTAs; codify learnings.
- Tooling and CMS ownership. Maintain GA, Ahrefs/SEMrush, CMS, and YouTube Studio; keep taxonomies, redirects, and hygiene tight.
- Cross-functional alignment. Partner with Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Support on launches and lifecycle moments to keep messaging coherent end-to-end.
What you bring:
- 6+ years in content strategy/SEO/editorial for B2C/B2B SaaS, fintech, or crypto.
- Strong on-page and YouTube SEO with a track record of channel growth.
- Proficiency with Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Analytics, and modern CMS workflows.
- Social strategy experience for X and YouTube; platform-native thinking.
- Excellent editing and project management in async environments; comfortable guiding freelancers/agencies.
- English minimum of C2 written/spoken.
Bonus points if you’ve:
- Crypto, fintech, or tax content experience
- Tech SEO knowledge
- Experience supporting PR or media outreach efforts
- Familiarity with localization or multi-language content programs
- Comfort scripting or planning content for video or podcasts
- Experience building or scaling content functions from the ground up
